Asus is supposed to use Windows CE on the upcoming Eee Pad EP101TC 10" tablet. Supposed , because NetbookNews.de claims that Asus have decided that Android would be a better fit for its upcoming tablet.
Rumor has it that Asus finally wised up and realized that Windows' days are numbered and decided to change course. The Eee Pad is now set to run Android 2.2 with a custom interface. According to NetbookNews (Link in German), the device will launch in Q1 2011.
Guys, I am so thrilled about this. Let's hope, this device will actually hit the streets and move the very reliable Eee PC line into the tablet age.
