Many companies have promised to deliver a worthy Android tablet, but most of them have failed to deliver (yet). Will E-Noa from Germany join them?
E-noa Interpad
E-Noa announced its Interpad tablet based on the Nvidia Tegra 2 chipset. There will be two version available later this year in Germany: a consumer model running Android 2.1 and a businessmodel running 2.2. The price appears to be around $518. The tablets may not be available outside of Europe. The company says on its website, that it will present the tablets during the IFA in September in Berlin.

Here are some specs:
  • 10" capacitive (yes!) multitouch screen
  • 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 Cortex-A9 dual core chip
  • 1GB DDR2 RAM
  • 16GB built-in flash storage
  • microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB
  • Connections: 1 USB host/device slot, 802.11b/g/ WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI output, headphne jack
  • Battery: 3900mAh (8-12 hours of estimated battery life
  • Dimensions: 10″ x 6.5″ x 0.5″
  • Weight: 1.5 pounds
One caveat, though: this German site states (in German), that the Interpad was already spotted during an exposition, but back then it was called "Malata A1011". The specs and looks fit. Malata is a manufacturer of tablets and other electronics from Xiamen, China.

Anyway, check out these two hands-on videos. Notice, how nicely Android 2.1 runs on this device.
